I’m deciding between Lapidus Pour Homme, Cartier Declaration (which’ll take a while to save up for), and Bois De Vetiver. I’m hoping the mint isn’t too strong, I’m more interested in the Vetiver, Rose, and the Ambroxan. Any suggestions?

I generally do not follow the 1980s strong OGs.Just my style. But happy to hear about more from the posh private blends.

Moss Cologne is such a scam! Has a beautiful heart which doesn't last more than 10mins and its base is so light and boring like a super market cheap feminine cologne! I wouldn't consider buying it even if it was under 100.

I usually try to keep it positive, but seriously, all that mooing, aaaing, and eeeing is just straight up nonsense. And what's the deal with one person talking nons stop perfume notes while the other is just starting to sniff a perfume? It's like a real-life acid trip, surreal.

loved hearing you speak until you got to the part about dissing people for wanting an all natural perfume. There has only ever been one perfume, not two, that was not all natural that I have tried that either didn't give me a headache or that I could not stand after half an hour. Imaginary Authors Decisions Decisions and an amber in a big gold bottle ......that I distressingly cannot remember the name of... I love but apart from these I never have I had a perfume with synthetics in it that I can stand in the dry down. I love fragrance and Teone Reinthal has been such an incredible perfumer to follow for the past few years as finals I have the fragrances I have been dreaming of and dont make me sick with a migraine or rush for the soap to scrub it off! I have not tried your perfume and would be very curious but super wary because ...synthetic base most often equals horrendous in my olfactory option. I also find that natural scents evoke a deep cellular memory that synthetics fail to do. They might smell ok but take me on a journey ...no

I actually got Hyde recently and wear it in the hot weather and I have to say the cloud that surrounds me is surreal… dried fruits drizzled with honey and some coal thrown on top of them… oh goosh I got to have a spray.

I'm an ardent fan of Guerlain since the 60s. I think it's the best House, also. My top 5 are (in ascending order) Vetiver; Chant d'Aromes; Parure; Vol de Nuit, and...Jicky. Extrait (vintage), if possible. Remarklable fragrance alchemy, all!

LOVE La Nuit... Have to disagree with Kouros and Patou because BOTH of those are fougères (heavy lavender) where the Paco has ZERO (thank God)..... I bought an ENTIRE CASE (25 pieces) of those 5ml edps (I won't tell what I paid... Let's just say I got a GREAT DEAL) and I also have a 7.5ml extrait... This is FANTASTIC JUICE...❤

I guess you were all to focussed on Habit Rouge. Would love the see a review on this fragrance without it being compared to Habit Rouge. I am not looking for a habit Rouge as I already have 3.

I just bought the modern Cabochard edp - it was practically free - sprayed it in the box and it was utterly vile... A bit later I tried it on my arm, and I really like it!! Big lesson learnt - paper or card can gobble up half of the most interesting ingredients. Most people probably know that, but I see so many reviewers spraying on paper strips.

The auto-generated chapters feature transcribed Gheorge as “Youre Gay” and it really got me 🤣🤣 Thanks UA-cam, happy (almost) Pride Month I guess? 😅 Anyways, I’ve recently gotten into fragrances and have developed a keen interest in Prin’s work through Zoologist’s Sloth and I hope to get my nose on Oliver, Gheorge, and Burning Ben soon. I enjoyed that review thank you. I'm currently in the middle of a big Trumper fan phase, sampling virtually the whole range and buying about half of it. This one is nice. Of the others Wild Fern, Milk of Flowers, Eau de Quinine and of course Eucris. Who else makes anything like those? And I find many of the newer ones like Skye, San Remo and GFT nicely updating the classic Trumper style while at the same time staying true to it. At the moment I probably prefer Trumper to Floris and Penhaligons (as well as being way above TOBS, Truefitt and hill and D R Harris). Amazing house. Amazing fragrances!

For me the dry down of oud cologone is like an animalic oud almost reminds me of triad its an sharp pungy smell but at the same time rounded and sweet, i guess the sharpness comes from the pine and roundness from tonka and the oud just complements both

Just blind bought Sandalwood from Trumpers because you two are always talking about it and WOW!!! That is an incredible fragrance for how much it costs. I paid around $40(£31-32) and it is so complex and mesmerizing.
